- At the age of six she moved from Pelotas, a city in Brazil's extreme south, to São Paulo with her family. In 1950, she attended the University of São Paulo's (USP) 'School of Dramatic Art' and set up a theater group called 'Jovens Independentes' (Young Independents). She married for the first time at age of eighteen.
Her professional career began at São Paulo's TV Tupi (Brazil's first television station) in 1959, in the soap opera "Um Lugar ao Sol (1959)", directed by Dionísio Azevedo.
In 1962 she starred in the classic film The Given Word (1962) ('O Pagador de Promessas'), the only Brazilian film to win the 'Palme d'Or' at the Cannes Film Festival in France, and the first South American film to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.
In 1963, alongside Tarcísio Meira, she had her first starring role in Brazil's first daily live television soap opera, 2-5499 Ocupado (1963), broadcast by TV Excelsior, now extinct. From this soap opera on, the two actors began appearing together as a successful working and married couple in over fifteen TV productions.
She is considered one of the main Brazilian actresses, as she has played several outstanding characters during her career on TV, films, and in theater, including the role of 'Doris' in the Brazilian production of Bernard Slade's romantic comedy play 'Same Time, Next Year'. - Actor

Juliano is an actor/writer/director from Brazil. He graduated in Dramatic Arts at the University of Brasilia, Brazil. Juliano took part as an actor in 20 feature films and worked with eminent Brazilian directors such as Fernando Meirelles, Heitor Dhalia, Matheus Nachtergaele, Claudio Assis, Gabriel Mascaro and many others no less important. Juliano is the leading role in Neon Bull, a Brazilian film from 2015 that has collected many awards and nominations in important international film festivals, like Venice, New York, Toronto, Hamburg, Roterdam and Cartagena. Neon Bull was also selected by the New York Times critic Stephen Holden as one of 2016's 10 Best Movies.
In his international career, Juliano was directed by Fernando Meirelles on the film 360, acting side by side with Rachel Weisz, Jude Law and Anthony Hopkins. On Brazilian Television, he was in four big series on Globo Chanel, receiving an award as Best Supporting Actor in 2012 for the character Adauto, in Brazil Avenue. Juliano published 'Pelas Janelas' (Through Windows), his first poetry book, published by Dublinense Editor in 2012. Working with his brother and sister, Érico and Marieta, he wrote and directed the animated short film A Roza. This film was selected by Anima Mundi and received Best Short Animated Film Screenplay, in Encontro Nacional Cinema dos Sertões in 2013.- Actor

Kleber Afonso was born in 1930 in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. After refusing several invitations to take on roles as a television actress, in 2006, at the age of 37, Vanessa de Oliveira accepted the role of Suzana, on the nationally televised prime-time hit series, Bicho do Mato.

Bruno de Moraes Viana is an award-winning filmmaker, born and raised in Pelotas, southern Brazil who started his career in film while attending acting school, in Sao Paulo, where after 3 years he realized he did not want to be in front of the camera but rather, behind it.
Inspired by his passion for cinematography along with his academic background in journalism, film and photography, Bruno decided to write, shoot and direct his own low budget films. He always believed it was possible to tell good stories with limited resources supported by creativity. Since then, Bruno has made several short films and started Studio MV11, a small production company with the primary goal of making independent films. Some of his work has been screened in festivals around the globe. These experiences led him to get a scholarship to join the MFA program in Film at Ohio University, where he also taught Film Techniques to undergraduate students.
Bruno has been inspired by directors across genres and time. He listed Charlie Chaplin, Elia Kazan, Federico Fellini, Sidney Lumet, Walter Salles, David Fincher, Cao Hamburger and Robert Rodriguez as some of his biggest influences.
